About Claude Code
Claude Code is Anthropic’s agentic CLI coding tool — runs in your terminal, connects to Claude (Opus 4.6 / Sonnet 4.6 / Haiku 4.5), reads your full codebase, writes and edits files, runs commands, and commits to git autonomously. Also available as a VS Code extension, desktop app, and web app. Billed through Claude Pro ($20/mo), Claude Max ($100–$200/mo unlimited Opus + Claude Code), Team Premium ($100/seat, 5-seat min), Enterprise, or API ($1–$25 per million tokens depending on model). The new /cost command (v2.1.92) shows per-model breakdown, cache hit rates, and rate-limit use live.
